SIRACH 51:29

29 Let your soul find joy

in the mercy of the Lord,

and do not be ashamed

to praise him.

WISDOM 3:15

15 The toil of the righteous

bears choice fruit;

and wise discernment

is a tree that does not wither.

JOB 31:33-34

33 Have I, out of human weakness,

hidden my sins

and concealed guilt in my heart,

34 keeping silent by myself

because I feared the crowd

and their contempt?

Exodus 4:11-12

11 Yahweh said ----,

“Who gave man a mouth?

Who makes him dumb or deaf,

with sight or blind?

Is it not I, the Lord?

12 Go now.

I will be on your lips

and will inspire what you say.”

ISAIAH 62:4-5

4 No longer will you be named Forsaken;

no longer will your land be called

Abandoned;

but you will be called My Delight

and your land Espoused.

For the Lord delights in you

and will make your land his spouse.

5 As a young man marries a virgin,

so will your builder marry you;

and as a bridegroom rejoices in his bride,

so will your God rejoice in you.
