WORD OF GOD - LK 12:19-21

LUKE 12:19-21

‘“And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.” But God said to him, “You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you. And the things you have prepared, whose will they be?” So it is with those who store up treasures for themselves but are not rich towards God.’

Anyone who places their faith, hope, and trust in people or the things of this world is doomed to be crushingly disappointed. All created things eventually perish, decay, are lost, destroyed, or are stolen. Nothing created can satisfy the soul. The Father loves you and this is why He sent Me into the world to show you the Way to eternal life and joy in His Kingdom. Mortal life will cease but the imperishable soul lives on eternally and you alone have the power to decide its destiny. Choose life so you may live.

WORD OF GOD - JN 10:27-30

JOHN 10:27-30

My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.

All who belong to Me are marked with the Sign of the Cross, sealed in My Holy Spirit, fed on the Eucharist, and receive My life welling up to eternity. You belong to Me You are the sheep that belong to My fold. I laid down My life for you so You may live. You will not perish if you follow Me and keep My commandments of love. Love is the mark of every member of My Body. As I have loved you so must you love everyone you encounter each day and you will abide in Me and I will abide in you and we will be one just as My Father and I are one. My peace I give you, remain in My love.  

WORD OF GOD - MK 10:26-27

MARK 10:26-27

They were greatly astounded and said to one another, ‘Then who can be saved?’ Jesus looked at them and said, ‘For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.’

Who can be saved? The one who desires to be saved, yet not all desire it because they are unaware of the consequences of sin. This is the great and most effective lie that the evil one propagates - as long as you are not hurting anyone it's ok. Every sin wounds the heart of God. The God you wound with your sins, the God to whom you show complete indifference as you wallow in the culture of the world, is the same God who was crucified for love of you. I paid your debt because you had no means of paying it. My crucifixion and death paid the price for your redemption. The debt you owe God can only be repaid by love.

WORD OF GOD - JN 10:14-16

JOHN 10:14-16

I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.

My love for those who are Mine, those called by My Name, draws
them into fellowship with My Father making us one just as the Father and I are one. It is a relationship that was forged in the fire of suffering and death. Unite all your daily troubles, your little disappointments, all the tribulations of your life with My passion and I will grant you a share in the glory of My resurrection. Be still and know that I AM God, pray constantly that you will remain faithful to the end. Pray for the whole world that they may come to know Me as you know Me so they too will be united in Me, and become one with Me as I AM with you and with My Father, this will hasten My coming again in glory to draw all creation to Myself and renew the face of the earth.

WORD OF GOD - JOB 40:4-5

JOB 40:4-5

“Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay my hand on my mouth.
I have spoken once, and I will not answer;
twice, but I will proceed no further.”

Remember that I AM WHO I AM - then, like Job, you will put your hand over your mouth instead of rambling on and on as you are wont to do. Do everything because you love Me, this must be your paramount desire. Love Me with your whole being, your whole soul, all your strength, and your will and Mine will always be aligned. Abide in Me and I will abide in you and the peace that I came to give the world will reign in your heart.

WORD OF GOD - MK 12:17

MARK 12:17

Jesus said to them, ‘Give to the emperor the things that are the emperor’s, and to God the things that are God’s.’ And they were utterly amazed at him.

God must have complete autonomy over you however, in His goodness He has given you the gift of free will. Your will is made perfect when you align your will with Mine in all things. What is it that you possess that was not given to you by My heavenly Father? As long as you are in the world learn to discern the things that are required of you as a citizen of the country you belong to and as a citizen of heaven. Too many are ignorant or fail to recognize all that they owe the Father as His children and as members of God's family. Be wise stewards of the gifts you have received and share generously all that has been entrusted to you.   

WORD OF GOD - MT 10:25-26

MATTHEW 10:25-26

It is enough for the disciple to be like the teacher, and the slave like the master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household! So have no fear of them; for nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.

Follow Me! Keep your gaze on Me, not on the world. Model your life on Me and pray constantly that the evil in the world may not stain your conscience. The Church will always have her detractors, those who malign her, sometimes with just cause. I came to call sinners not the righteous. The members of My Body, My Church, are to be a light set on a lampstand, a city on the hill so the world's weary will come to Me and find a home in Me. Do not fear the darkness and terrors of the night or those who prowl in the darkness - they will not prevail for I have overcome the world. 

WORD OF GOD - ROM 12:2

ROMANS 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.

The world's values, the current culture, worldly wisdom is an insidious, foul-smelling, putrid fog. It creeps through every little crack and settles on the body, mind, and soul bringing with it decay and death. The filth of its decadent reasoning finds a home in the woefully ignorant, the proud, the conceited, the licentious, and those who willingly give themselves up to vice, evil, and the demonic. Be on your guard. Stay vigilant. Flee from the world and take refuge in the Wisdom of God. Be conformed to the Word - let the Word make its home in you. Be docile to the Spirit and He will transform you and enable you to be holy and perfect just as your heavenly Father is holy and perfect.  

WORD OF GOD - MK 13:35-37

MARK 13:35-37

‘Therefore, keep awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrow, or at dawn, or else he may find you asleep when he comes suddenly. And what I say to you I say to all: Keep awake.’

Stay awake, alert, aware it is easy to become heavy with worry, anxiety, fear, to get distracted by the chaos and confusion, the terror and the violence that abound in the whole world. This is no time to let down your guard but to be vigilant. Count yourself among the faithful who are waiting for Me, who while they wait they pray looking with confidence and hope for My return - they will be saved. Stay strong in the strength of My Spirit, pray constantly, be strengthened by the frequent and worthy reception of the Sacraments, and be fed daily if possible on My Body and My Blood and you will receive strength and grace to the end.

Set me as a seal upon your heart,

I desire that you love Me with passion, to consider all well lost for love of Me. I want you to desire Me more than all created things. I desire to be all to you and that you will permit nothing to separate Me from you. Let the whole world know that you are Mine, let it be visible to all who know you that you are My possession and that no power on earth can wrest you from Me. I have marked you with the Sign of My Cross, I have sealed you in My Blood, I have made an irrevocable Covenant of Love with You, I lay down My Life and took it up again in order that you may receive eternal life from Me. Know that I AM God and I desire that you be wholly Mine in time and eternity.

WORD OF GOD - IS 17:18-19, 25

ISAIAH 17:18-19, 25

Do not remember the former things, 

 or consider the things of old.
I am about to do a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
I, I am He
who blots out your transgressions for my own sake,
and I will not remember your sins.

I do not wish you to look at your past sins and use them as a whip to lash yourself. It is enough for Me that you have repented, and confessed them have resolved not to trod the way that leads to unrighteousness. I have forgiven you, I have cast all your sins behind My back. Look at Me. Keep your gaze fixed on Me, remember I AM the Christ, the Anointed One. I bore your iniquities and your guilt and I have washed you clean. You are a new creation. Begin anew to walk in the Way of Truth and Life. I AM the Lord your God, is anything too difficult for Me. Look for the new blessings that I will give you. Do not look at the past but look forward with faith and hope at the wonderful new thing I AM about to do for you because I love you. You are mine. 

WORD OF GOD - ROM 10:13-15

ROMANS 10:13-

For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him? And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’

While it is true that anyone who calls on Me with the desire to be saved will be saved. Even if they are unable to express it but can only think it or even sigh their longing to be saved, I will hasten to take them by the hand and I will deliver them from the snares of the Enemy. But as Paul rightly points out how can they call out to Me if they do not believe in Me, and how can they believe in Me if they have never heard of Me, and how can they hear of Me when members of My Body like You do not proclaim the Good News to them? You have no excuse for all who are baptized in My Name are also commissioned to go out into the world and proclaim the Gospel. How do you do it, ---- mine? by the witness of your life. It is as simple as that. Let your love shine so bright that they will be drawn to its Light and come to desire to know Me and be saved. ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’

WORD OF GOD - JN 1:5

JOHN 1:5

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

You are constantly lamenting and groaning about the darkness that is enveloping the world. This is because your gaze is on the world and not on Me. I AM the Light of the world there is no darkness that can extinguish My Light. Darkness is not dark to Me for My Light is brighter than the noonday sun. I AM God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God and the darkness will never prevail over Me. Live in My Light, place all your hope in the Light and have faith, I have redeemed the world.

WORD OF GOD - 6:16-21

JOHN 6:16-21

When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, got into a boat, and started across the lake to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. The lake became rough because a strong wind was blowing. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the lake and coming near the boat, and they were terrified. But he said to them, ‘It is I; do not be afraid.’ Then they wanted to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the land towards which they were going.

Now that you are in the evening of your life there will be dark moments when you will find yourself alone even when you are surrounded by people because you will not experience My Presence. When life gets particularly tempestuous, the winds get frightening, the boat of your life is filling up with water as it is tossed about by the wind and you fear you will drown - fear not! I will come to you for I have redeemed you, saved you, justified you - you are mine. The waters will not cover you, the winds will not destroy you, you will not be overcome nor will you perish for I AM with you. All will be well. The storms will pass and the gentle wind of the Holy Spirit will bring you to safe harbor and home. 

WORD OF GOD - MT 9:23-25

MATTHEW 9:23-25 

When Jesus came to the leader’s house and saw the flute-players and the crowd making a commotion, he said, ‘Go away; for the girl is not dead but sleeping.’ And they laughed at him. But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.

God is not present where there is a great deal of empty sound and commotion. The Spirit of the Lord is peace, tranquility, serenity, and calm. He moves like a gentle breeze giving life to everything He touches. In the touch of God is healing, wholeness, and restoration in heart, mind, soul, body, and spirit. I AM God and I AM at work always. Have faith no matter how hopeless things appear and you will witness the power of God. I come to the aid of all who believe in the power of My Name and I will save them.

WORD OF GOD - MK 8:11-12

The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, asking him for a sign from heaven, to test him. And he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, ‘Why does this generation ask for a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation.’

The world and everything in it have the imprint of God and signs and wonders are everywhere if you desire to see them. But for hearts that are hard and minds that are closed no sign is ever enough. Every baby born into the world is a sign from heaven that the Creator lives. The Pharisees of this world ask for signs not because they genuinely desire to see and believe but because they wish God to jump through their hoops. They wish to reduce Me to their own narrow-minded vision of Me. As for those who believe no sign is necessary except the manger in a cave, the Cross, and the empty tomb.

WORD OF GOD - MK 3:4-6

MARK 3:4-6

Then he said to them, ‘Is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the sabbath, to save life or to kill?’ But they were silent. He looked around at them with anger; he was grieved at their hardness of heart and said to the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ He stretched it out, and his hand was restored. The Pharisees went out and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how to destroy him.

There is never a time when it is not lawful to do good to be compassionate, kind, caring, loving, to lend a hand, to help someone along the way, to help make another's load lighter. To walk the extra mile with someone who is lonely and to listen in silence and with empathy. There will always be those like the Pharisees and Herodians conspiring together to seek and crush those who refuse to bow down and give in to a corrupt and evil culture. The righteous silently condemn the unrighteous and this is why they are hated. It is the wicked who cannot and will not rest until the godly are destroyed.

WORD OF GOD - MK 4:8-9

MARK 4:8-9

Other seed fell into good soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirty and sixty and a hundredfold.’ And he said, ‘Let anyone with ears to hear listen!’

Listen always. Be attentive to the sound of My voice. I speak to you constantly. There is not a moment when I am not talking to you, directing and guiding you, leading you, nudging you, coaxing you, encouraging you, helping you. You are not listening. The more you listen the easier it will be for you to hear and recognize the sound of My Voice from the cacophony of sounds that bombard you. Be still and listen. Listen and obey. Obey in humility. Humbly receive all I desire to give you. Receive gratefully. Give thanks. I AM your God who loves you, I will never leave you nor forsake you. You are mine.

WORD OF GOD - JN 4:24

JOHN 4:24

'God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.'

Pray to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to help you, to teach you, to guide you into the worship that God desires of you and of all who believe in Me. My Father is Spirit, I AM Truth, and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Love, unites My Father and Me making us One. Ask Him and He will open your spirit to the transcendent. At every celebration of the Holy Mass, the heavens open and the angels and saints ascend and descend on the Son of Man and the Son of God. The Holy Spirit expands the spirit of the faithful who participate in the liturgical life of the Church, makes them one, and transforms them as their spirits become imbued with the Holy Trinity, this is true worship. 

WORD OF GOD - MK 10:13-16

MARK 10:13-16

People were bringing little children to him in order that he might touch them; and the disciples spoke sternly to them. But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.’ And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.

Children are a gift and a blessing and it grieves Me exceedingly that the world looks at children and babies as an appendage to be desired when it is convenient and to be massacred and dismembered in the womb when it is not. The innocence of children is diabolically and systematically being robbed by an evil culture. Nature is horrified, how much more, the God of all creation? Every child is unique and has an immortal soul. Each baby, endowed with God-given gifts brings new hope and the promise to renew the face of the earth. By brutally snuffing out the lives of these innocents the world and the culture are currently barren. God is the author of life, anyone who dares in any way to usurp this authority will never enter the Kingdom of God.   

WORD OF GOD - LK 8:21

LUKE 8:21

But he said to them, ‘My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.’

My Mother conceived the Word of God, she carried the Word in her womb. She nourished Me and I grew in her for nine months. During all that time she was absorbed in Me. She thought of nothing but Me and the Word of God that was hidden in her. All her life she desired nothing but to do God's will it did not matter what it was she was ready. No matter how difficult, no matter how incredible, even when she could not fully comprehend, she was ready to do all that was asked of her. She obeyed the will of God joyfully, obediently, immediately, unhesitatingly, and completely because she was wrapped up in God's love for her and hers for Him. There was no room for self in her total absorption in God. Imitate her.

WORD OF GOD - MT 5:8

MATTHEW 5:8

 ‘Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.’

A pure heart reflects Me. A pure heart radiates My Life and My love. A heart that is pure is a heart that is holy. Purity is not naivete for despite being exposed to the world it keeps its childlike innocence because it is yielded and surrendered to Me. Its gaze is fixed on Me, not on the world. It steadfastly refuses to be tainted by the wickedness that is celebrated around it. It is unaffected by the malice of those who are steeped in the world. It is like a wildflower blooming in a wasteland giving glory to God.

WORD OF GOD - MK 10:6-9

MARK 10:6-9

But from the beginning of creation, “God made them male and female.” “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.’

When God created the human race He intended the bonds of marriage to be indissoluble until death because the two were one flesh. Marriage is a covenantal relationship in which there is an outpouring of self in love one to the other just as I poured Myself out for My Bride, the Church. Marriage is designed by God to foreshadow the great marriage feast between the Lamb of God and His Bride, the Church at the end of the age. This is why anyone who in any way is responsible for the separation of the two whom God has joined in marriage, is guilty of breaking God's commandment. To break the commandments of God is to sin against Him and the consequence of sin is separation from God. 

WORD OF GOD - MT 13:16-17

 MATTHEW 13:16-17

But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. Truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.

I count you among the blessed because you have been called, chosen, and given freely what many will never receive. You were born into the faith, you did not have to spend a lifetime groping for the Truth. Baptized as an infant, you received the Sacraments you were meant to receive at different stages in your life and you grew in the faith and matured in it. You veered a little from the Way now and then but I wooed you back over and over again. With you as with so many others, all is grace. It pleased My Father to bring you along gently, compassionately, watchfully, so you did not have to struggle too much. Yes, you have had to carry some difficult and painful crosses along the Way but I carried them with you. So yes, you are counted among those blessed to see, to hear, and to possess what many may never see, hear, and possess. But also bear in mind that to whom much is given much will be required.

WORD OF GOD -MT 11:28-30

 MATTHEW 11:28-30

‘Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.’

In Me alone, you will find perfect rest and peace because I have compassion for the weak, the lost, the weary, the forgotten, the frail, the sinner. Fear nothing except losing Me for if you do, you will be in danger of losing your soul. Come to Me, cling to Me, Find your rest in Me for I Am the hope of your salvation. My burden is love, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Come, lay all your burdens and troubles down and I will carry them for you. Trust Me to provide everything you need on your pilgrim journey from this life to the life that is to come. I provide food for the hungry, drink for the thirsty, and perfect rest for your soul - eat, drink and be satisfied.

WORD OF GOD - MT 8:24-27

MATTHEW 8:24-27

A gale arose on the lake, so great that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. And they went and woke him up, saying, ‘Lord, save us! We are perishing!’ And he said to them, ‘Why are you afraid, you of little faith?’ Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a dead calm. They were amazed, saying, ‘What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?’

I know, I AM aware, I see how strongly the winds, the gales, the storms are buffeting the world and you but remember, through all the calamities, the wars, the pestilences, the terrors, the injustices, the violence, the evil that is inflicted on the innocent, the helpless, the weak and the meek I AM with you. No power on earth or in the netherworld can wrest you from Me and from all who belong to Me. I AM the Lord your God. I Am the Eternal Word. I AM the Eternal Son of the Father. I AM. Nothing is too difficult for Me. Nothing is impossible for Me because I AM. Fear nothing fear paralyzes. Hope in Me for where is hope there is faith and where is hope and faith there is Love and God is Love.

WORD OF GOD - JN 8:12-16

JOHN 8:12-16

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.’

In an increasingly darkening, sinful world that is spiraling into chaos, violence, mayhem, hold on to Me, cling to Me. I AM the Light of the World. I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I AM the doorway to My Father's house, there is no other. Follow Me! Remain in Me! Be filled with My love and choose daily to walk in the way of peace and joy and you will possess the Light of Life.

WORD OF GOD - MT 16:15

MATTHEW 16:15

He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’

At different stages in your life, I ask you the same question that I
asked My disciples, "---- mine, who do you say that I AM?" and as we walk greater distances and ever more closely together, your response will be based on all your experiences in your faith journey with Me. Because you have come to know Me your response too will resonate with truth as Peter's did, for the nearer you draw to Me the revelation of who I AM will come to you from My Father in heaven. 

WORD OF GOD - MT 12:18-21

 MATTHEW 12:18-21

‘Here is my servant, whom I have chosen,
my beloved, with whom my soul is well pleased.
I will put my Spirit upon him,
and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.

He will not wrangle or cry aloud,
nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.
He will not break a bruised reed
or quench a smouldering wick
until he brings justice to victory.
And in his name the Gentiles will hope.’

Isaiah and all the prophets spoke of Me, the Holy Spirit inspired them with knowledge and wisdom and they spoke prophetically of the Messiah who would free not just the Chosen People of God but all people of goodwill from slavery to sin. Look at Me. Keep your gaze on Me steadfastly and learn from Me to be meek, obedient, gentle, and humble of heart. Salvation comes from the Cross and from the Sacrifice of the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. There is salvation in no other for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which the world can be saved. I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life no one comes to the Father except by Me. Cling to Me and cry out to Me for help and strength when you find you are weak and lack strength of your own and I will lift you up and I will carry you safely to the place of rest prepared for you from eternity. 

WORD OF GOD - JN 13:14-17

JOHN 13:14-17

So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you. Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them. If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

Humility is a difficult virtue to exercise if you are self-centered, egoistic, self-willed, filled with self-conceit, and above all if you lack the willingness to love unconditionally and without measure. Love has the power to conquer all sin. Love makes it possible for the Father to stoop low over His children. Love made it possible for Me to joyfully and willingly lay down My life for you as the Father willed. Stoop low and you will be raised up. Love and you will receive love. Obey all God's commands just as I, your Lord, your Master, your Teacher, and your God has done and you will be richly blessed in this life and you will receive a crown of glory in the life to come.

WORD OF GOD - JN 16:24

JOHN 16:24

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

Ask for that which is most needful for you to live a grace-filled life, ask My Father in My Name to give you what will fill you with constant joy, a joy that is not based on what is temporal that can be stolen, or lost, or will eventually corrode. Ask the Father in My Name to give you the Holy Spirit and everything else will be added to you for He is the Gift of Gifts and the Giver of every gift. Ask for the Spirit of the Father and the Son to come upon you and remain with you forever and your joy will be complete.
