WORD OF GOD - MK 9:21-14

MARK 9:21-24

Jesus asked the father, ‘How long has this been happening to him?’ And he said, ‘From childhood. It has often cast him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us.’ Jesus said to him, ‘If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.’ Immediately the father of the child cried out, ‘I believe; help my unbelief!’

There is no problem, no difficulty, no illness of body, soul, mind, or spirit that the love, mercy, and tender compassion of God will not heal when His children reach out to Him and cry for help. No problem, no sin is so great that the love of God cannot overpower, overcome, and forgive. All you need is faith. When you are at your weakest, when you have reached the very depths of despair, and the dark of night is so dark it blankets and smothers you, I Am with you. Call My Name and I will lift you up, I will carry you, I will heal and comfort you, I will draw you into the warmth and light of My love, I will wipe the tears from your eyes and I Myself will feed you on the Bread of Life that will sustain you all your days. Lift up your head and look at Me, I Am here. I will never leave you nor will I forsake you because you are irrevocably mine. Ask and I will give you even the half of My Kingdom.

WORD OF GOD - JM 1:26-27

JAMES 1:26-27

If any think they are religious, and do not bridle their tongues but deceive their hearts, their religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

The tongue is the cause of more mischief than the world can conceive of or imagine. A careless word, a capricious tongue, words that are spoken thoughtlessly wounding the weak, the vulnerable, the frail in body and spirit, are sins that God does not take lightly. Be warned, ask for the grace to be kind, loving, and gentle in your dealings with the vulnerable and it will be given to you in full measure. It is these little ones that My Father holds lovingly close to His bosom, wound them at your own peril. Strive always to be worthy children of your loving, holy, and perfect Father and guard yourself against the seductions of this world.

WORD OF GOD - MK 12:6

MARK 12:6

He had still one other, a beloved son. Finally he sent him to them, saying, “They will respect my son.”

Ever since the fall of the human race that My Father created with such immense love, He sought to redeem them. He chose Abraham and from him, He intended to slowly, surely, and definitively woo all men and women of every race, culture, nation, and language back to Himself. The world however rejected every endeavor made by My Father to teach them to live in a manner that would ensure that they would be happy. Every one of the messengers He sent to reproach and warn them they ruthlessly rejected, persecuted, and even killed until My Father, who so loved the world, sent Me, His only Son, to pay the ultimate price for the redemption of the world. There is no greater love than this that a man lay down his life for a friend.

WORD OF GOD - LK 9:35

LUKE 9:35

Then from the cloud came a voice that said, “This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to him!”

Life can get overwhelming the troubles of the world will sometimes threaten to disturb your peace and when you discover you possess neither the strength nor the will to hold on and push through you will surely flounder, slip, and fall. In such moments, lift up your head, keep your gaze on Me and remember that I Am with you. I Am with you always. In the times when you do not feel My Presence trust Me when I say to you, that I, the Son of God, is not only with you, but assures you that I will never ever leave you. I have chosen you to be Mine now and forever. Be of good cheer I have overcome the world.

WORD OF GOD - MK 2:25-28

Mark 2:25-28

And he said to them, ‘Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need of food? He entered the house of God, when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and he gave some to his companions.’ Then he said to them, ‘The sabbath was made for humankind, and not humankind for the sabbath; so the Son of Man is lord even of the sabbath.’

There is no law greater than the law of love, mercy, and compassion. Laws are just guideposts, they reveal what is displeasing to God and hence sinful and must be obeyed. But remember, no sin however great, is beyond the reach of My redemption. Every sin no matter how heinous can be forgiven when a sinner is crushed with sorrow, contrite of heart, acknowledges his or her weaknesses, and pleads for My mercy and strength to overcome a fault and failing. I Am the Bread of Life and the contrite of heart and the repentant of spirit who beg for My mercy and forgiveness will be given a seat at the Banquet of Love. All things are made new in the ocean of My mercy and love. 

WORD OF GOD - JOHN 6:5-15

John 6:5-15

When he looked up and saw a large crowd coming towards him, Jesus said to Philip, ‘Where are we to buy bread for these people to eat?’ He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he was going to do. Philip answered him, ‘Six months’ wages would not buy enough bread for each of them to get a little.’ One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him, ‘There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are they among so many people?’ Jesus said, ‘Make the people sit down.’ Now there was a great deal of grass in the place; so they sat down, about five thousand in all. Then Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated; so also the fish, as much as they wanted. When they were satisfied, he told his disciples, ‘Gather up the fragments left over, so that nothing may be lost.’ So they gathered them up, and from the fragments of the five barley loaves, left by those who had eaten, they filled twelve baskets. When the people saw the sign that he had done, they began to say, ‘This is indeed the prophet who is to come into the world.’

When Jesus realized that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, he withdrew again to the mountain by himself.

I know all your needs just as I knew the need of the crowd - they were hungry and I fed them first with spiritual food to fill their hungry hearts and then with bread and fish to feed their natural hunger. The world experiences both spiritual hunger and bodily hunger but spiritual hunger is worse. If not met it gnaws at the soul and the spirit of those who are ignorant of Me and My Word. Every attempt to satisfy it without Me and My help only leads to greater distress, hunger, and want the end result of which is despair. This is why all who do know and love Me must live the Gospel by their lives. When the world sees you they must desire what you have and when they receive it and are satisfied, they too, in turn, will witness to the Father's love. The Church keeps safe in the treasury of her memory the 12 baskets that were leftover and this is My pledge and My assurance to all who make their home in her - she will never run out of the Bread of Life and the Cup of Salvation until I return.

WORD OF GOD - MT 13:16-17

MATTHEW 13:16-17

But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. Truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.

Anyone who hears and obeys Me hears and obeys My Father in heaven. Blessed are you who believe - there are many who have turned their faces away from Me because they reject the Word of Eternal Life. Too preoccupied and caught up with the things of the world they are either unable or unwilling to love and obey God as they ought. There is no excuse for the people of this age to claim ignorance of Me for all knowledge of Me is evident and readily available if one seeks it. But blessed are you who do stay faithful and never lose hope. Be ever mindful that the things of the earth are passing God alone remains unchanging and everlasting and it is He who will decide where you spend eternity. Your choices today will be the catalyst that decides what your ultimate fate will be eternally. Choose wisely while you have the chance. And fear nothing, I have conquered the world.

WORD OF GOD - MT 6:16-18

MATTHEW 6:16-18

‘And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.'

Bear your cross cheerfully. Let not your right hand know what your left hand is doing. Endure all for My sake and for the sake of those you love and for the whole world. Let not your heart be troubled for I Am with you now and always. All you need I will provide. Believe in Me and in My Word and all will be well I assure you. Have faith! This too shall pass.

 

WORD OF GOD - MK 4:24-25

 MARK 4:24-25

And he said to them, ‘Pay attention to what you hear; the measure you give will be the measure you get, and still more will be given you. For to those who have, more will be given; and from those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away.’

This is the way the Kingdom of God works, this is true wisdom, to live righteously and justly and to render to God what is His and to your neighbor what is justly his as well. Give generously not just of what is easy but give of the things that you find most difficult time, patience, sympathy, empathy, mercy, and compassion and all that you give in My Name will be given to you a hundredfold in this life and superabundantly in the life to come. Be of good cheer, ----, I have overcome the world. 

WORD OF GOD - MK 6:47-50

MARK 6:47-50

When evening came, the boat was out on the lake, and (Jesus) he was alone on the land. When he saw that they were straining at the oars against an adverse wind, he came towards them early in the morning, walking on the lake. He intended to pass them by. But when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought it was a ghost and cried out; for they all saw him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them and said, ‘Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid.’ Then he got into the boat with them and the wind ceased. And they were utterly astounded, for they did not understand about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.

You have given yourself to Me, you desire to be wholly Mine, this is why I way to you that you need never be afraid of the storm, the winds, the waves, the terrors of the night, or the arrows that fly by day. No harm comes to those who entrust themselves to Me. Hold on to this truth, and when terror threatens to take hold of you remember that what I said to My disciples on the day of the storm when they too were terrified I say to you as well, 'Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid.' All is well, all is always well with those who have yielded their lives to Me.

WORD OF GOD -MT 10:29-31

MATTHEW 10:29-31

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground unperceived by your Father. And even the hairs of your head are all counted. So do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows."

You are mine, never doubt it. Do not permit the little sorrows in your life to overwhelm you and rob you of your peace. Have I not revealed to you over and over again from the very beginning how I have always been with you, cared for you, protected you, and blessed you? All your life you have been surrounded by people who have loved you, greatly. Do not allow yourself to become despondent about the little troubles that are sent to test your faith and strengthen it. I Am always with you. Trust Me to lead you through the storm safely and bring you to safe harbor. Remember, I have overcome the world.

WORD OF GOD - PS 126:5-6

PSALM 126:5-6

May those who sow in tears
reap with shouts of joy.
Those who go out weeping,
bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,
carrying their sheaves.

A glorious destiny belongs to all who live a life of righteousness. Work tirelessly for the Kingdom of God. You are the salt and light of the world. Be a faithful witness to the Gospel by your lives in season and out of season, whether convenient or not, and one day your hearts will be filled with perfect joy and gladness. Every disciple is given every good and perfect gift and tears and sorrows as well in this life and a great and everlasting reward in the life to come. 

WORD OF GOD - ROM 8:12-16

ROMANS 8:12-16

So then, brothers and sisters, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh— for if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’ it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ—if, in fact, we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.

Fear has no place in the lives of the children of God - fear belongs to those who live in darkness, and gloom as slaves to sin. But all who walk in the Spirit of God walk in the light of Truth and are sons and daughters of the Most High. Put to death the promptings of your flesh and instead yield to the voice of the Spirit and you will live and claim the inheritance that is yours since God laid the foundations of the earth.

WORD OF GOD - 21:33-36

 LUKE 21:33-36

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. ‘Be on guard so that your hearts are not weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of this life, and that day does not catch you unexpectedly, like a trap. For it will come upon all who live on the face of the whole earth. Be alert at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.’

Do not forget that you were created for heaven, not earth. Ever since the foundations of the earth were laid you were a thought conceived in the mind of My Father in heaven. Fear nothing except sin. Keep your gaze fixed on Me always and allow nothing to separate you from My love. Shelter in Me, find refuge in Me, make your home in Me, and pray constantly for yourself, those you love, and for the whole world and have faith, the kind that moves mountains - I Am with you always until time for you will cease and you receive Your share in My inheritance.

WORD OF GOD - ACTS 11:21

ACTS 11:21

The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number became believers and turned to the Lord.

Never doubt for a moment, even when it seems that you are overwhelmed and the waters see of the flood seem to drown you, that I Am with you. My hand of protection is over you and yours. Believe, have faith, you will not be overcome for My power is yours, My strength is yours, My love is yours. My Presence is in you, with you, above and below you, around you encompassing you always. Be not afraid of anything neither in life nor in death for I Am with you always and I will accompany you to the home of My Father because you are Mine.

WORD OF GOD - LK 11:16-17 & 20

 LUKE 11:16-17 & 20

Others, to test him, kept demanding from him a sign from heaven. But he knew what they were thinking and said to them, ‘Every kingdom divided against itself becomes a desert, and house falls on house. But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come to you.'

To keep demanding for signs after so many have already been given to you indicates a clear lack of faith. Signs are given in order to kindle and strengthen faith but once you have received it then your whole life must be one of total submission and surrender to My will. Only when you yield your whole life to Me will you discover the kindom of God has come to you. Do not be afraid for the yoke of the cross is sweet and the burden of suffering for My sake and the sake of the Gospel is light. 

WORD OF GOD - LK 18:22

LUKE 18:22

When Jesus heard this, he said to him, ‘There is still one thing lacking. Sell all that you own and distribute the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.’

What is that one thing that is still lacking in your faithful discipleship with Me? What is that one difficult thing you find impossible to give up, deny yourself, and you hold on to with such passion believing yourself unable to let it go for My sake? Once you identify what that one thing is that makes your committed walk with Me less fervent would you be willing to give it up and let it go? If you sincerely desire to walk more closely with Me pray for this grace and what you ask for in prayer will be given to you.

WORD OF GOD - JN 16:22-24

 JOHN 16:22-24

So you have pain now; but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. On that day you will ask nothing of me. Very truly, I tell you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

So you have pain now; this is life and pain, struggle, sorrow, disappointment, and trouble will be your lot. Into each life must come a time of distress, what you must remember in these times of trials is that I Am with you I will never leave you, you will never be alone. Share all your burdens with Me and I will help you carry the load so your burden will be lighter. Never has it been known that you asked My Father for anything in My Name and He has refused to grant it. Make known to Him the desires of your heart, ask Him to fulfill them in My Name and He will grant them to you and your joy will be complete.

WORD OF GOD - ROM 4:20-25

ROMANS 4:20-25

No distrust made him (Abraham) waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, being fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. Therefore his faith ‘was reckoned to him as righteousness.’ Now the words, ‘it was reckoned to him’, were written not for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be reckoned to us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was handed over to death for our trespasses and was raised for our justification.

Faith is the reason miracles happen. Faith is always a gift, not given because you prayed for it, but freely granted to you when you were baptized and became a child of God as an infant. That tiny little seed of faith was nurtured, tended, protected, and encouraged to grow with the help of so many in your life. Never fail to be grateful to them for the care with which they raised you as a member of My Body. Without faith, it is impossible to please God and all who receive this gift of faith and believe that in God's Eternal Word, will, like Abraham, be considered righteous by My Father in heaven. Faith in  God to level mountains and fill valleys even in the face of insurmountable odds are the reason why miracles like the greatest miracle of all occur - the Resurrection in which all who believe in Me will one day share. I have overcome the world!

WORD OF GOD - ACTS 16:29-31

ACTS 16:29-31

The jailer called for lights, and rushing in, he fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. Then he brought them outside and said, ‘‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’ They answered, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.’

Never doubt the power of God to bring all even the most powerful, wicked, and sinister to their knees. Do not live in fear of what evil, powerful people as well as godless nations can do for all power is given from above. No one can lay a finger on God's anointed unless the power to do so was given by God for a purpose. I Am able to use all things, all circumstances, and all people for good. Have faith, fear nothing, just believe in Me, I have overcome the world. 

WORD OF GOD - MK 13:35-37

MARK 13:35-37

Therefore, keep awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrow, or at dawn, or else he may find you asleep when he comes suddenly. And what I say to you I say to all: Keep awake.’

A bad conscience dulls the spirit and sin causes death to the soul. If your soul is dead you will miss all the warning signs of My return. This is why I warn you to pray constantly, do good and not evil, love as you are commanded to love both God and your neighbor, and do not let the light of faith grow dim. Keep your inward gaze fixed on the prize, the goal, the final and ultimate reward recognize the signs of the times but do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid - I have overcome the world.

WORD OF GOD - MT 16:15-16

MATTHEW 16:15-16 

He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’

Who do you say I  AM? What has been your experience of Me ever since you have come to know Me? What is your response to the question that I ask of each of My disciples? Do you truly understand Peter's response? To him was given a revelation from My Father in heaven and so, even though he did not fully understand, he made the proclamation to the whole world. But you, ---- Mine, who do you say I AM? Think about it, ponder on it in the light of revelation and you will have your answer. Yes, I AM indeed the Christ, the anointed of the Father, the Son of the Living God, whose name is Jesus, one who saves. I AM also Emmanuel, God who is with you, now and eternally.

WORD OF GOD - LK:17:20-21

LUKE 17:20-21

‘The kingdom of God is not coming with things that can be observed; nor will they say, “Look, here it is!” or “There it is!” For, in fact, the kingdom of God is among you.’

Each time you perform a selfless act of love, each time you speak of Me and testify to and witness to all I have done for you, each time you have a good, holy thought, each time you say My Name with reverence and love - the Kingdom of God is among you. Remember and be comforted and strengthened by My promise, I AM with you always, to the end of the age.

WORD OF GOD - LK 17:17-19

LUKE 17:17-19

Jesus asked, ‘Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they? Was none of them found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?’ Then he said to him, ‘Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well.’

Count your blessings every day and give thanks for each one of them. A grateful heart encourages faith to grow. A grateful heart is one that overflows with praise and thanksgiving to the Giver from whom all good gifts flow. The one whose heart is mindful of all the blessings and graces that are poured into it will have a delicate conscience, turning to me constantly in repentance and with a contrite heart and spirit. I, in turn, will forgive quickly. Cultivate a grateful heart and I will grant you a generous spirit so you, in turn, lavish all I give you on others.

WORD OF GOD - TIT 2:11-13

TITUS 2:11-13

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly, while we wait for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

There is only one way to live and that is in the shadow, the grace, and the love of God. Your whole life must be as an open book unafraid to be brought under the scrutiny of the harsh light of day. Your salvation has been purchased at a great price and your final destiny is eternal joy united with Me in the Kingdom of heaven together with the angels and the saints. Be confident that the grace of God is poured upon you and you receive at all times all the help you need from the Holy Spirit in order to choose always that which is right, good, true, noble, and beautiful. Should fall get up and start over. All is not lost until all is lost.

WORD OF GOD - LK 24:25-26

LUKE 24:25-26

Then he said to them, ‘Oh, how foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have declared! Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer these things and then enter into his glory?’

The moment the cross is laid on your shoulders you begin to complain, chafe under its weight and plead to be relieved from it. Yet, in this life, there is no way of escaping it. The consequences of sin are suffering and death and there is nothing you can do except to bear its weight gracefully. Ask and this grace will be given to you. Every soul suffers some more than others it's true but it is always as My Father wills, He will not give you any suffering and sorrow without giving you the necessary grace to accept and endure it. There can be no crown, no glory, without Calvary. Come to Me, learn from Me, accept the yoke of suffering and unite it with My passion in gentleness and humility and you will receive a share in My victory. Be of good cheer I have overcome the world.

WORD OF GOD - PS 32:8

PSALM 32:8

I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go;

I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Abandon yourself wholly to Me and I will take you by the hand and lead you. I will teach you the ways that are pleasing to Me. I will keep your feet from stumbling. I Myself will walk with you, watch over you and never take My gaze off you. I will protect you because you are called by My Name, you are Mine. All I ask of you is to remain in My love and no harm will come to you. No one can take away what is Mine and you are Mine now and always. 

WORD OF GOD - EZK 16:60

EZEKIEL 16:60 

I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish with you an everlasting covenant.

From the very first Covenant My Father made with Abraham, and all the Covenants He has made all through salvation history, until the last and final Covenant sealed in My Blood for the salvation of the whole world, My Father has sought to bind Himself ever more securely to you through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is an everlasting Covenant of His abiding love for you. It is a Covenant that saves you and guarantees you joy in this life and everlasting joy in the life to come.
