EZEKIEL 34:11-12 (2025)

EZEKIEL 34:11-12

For thus says the Lord God:
I myself will search for my sheep,
and will seek them out.
As shepherds seek out their flocks
when they are among their scattered sheep,
so I will seek out my sheep.
I will rescue them from all the places
to which they have been scattered
on a day of clouds and thick darkness.

---- mine,

Morning after morning, I assure you and reassure you that I will seek and save the sheep that are Mine, who belong to My Flock. I will seek them wherever they are, for I know My own and My own know Me. They recognize the sound of My voice, for they are sealed with My Holy Spirit. None of those who belong to Me is ever lost, even if you think they are. I will seek them, I will find them, and I will restore them. Do not be discouraged, do not be anxious, but continue to pray with faith, hope, and without anxiety. I AM God, and I keep My promises. They will return. I will return each one of them to the fold. A day is coming when you will all be together, and you will rejoice and be glad and praise My Father in heaven. Have faith and while you wait for their return, continue to wait, pray, and give thanks for the day and hour of their deliverance and restoration. Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

MATTHEW 12:29 (2025)

MATTHEW 12:29

How can anyone break into the strong man’s house
and make off with his belongings,
unless he first ties him up?
Only then can he plunder his house.

---- mine,

If your weaknesses, if concupiscence is stronger than your virtue, you will always lose the fight against the forces of evil that are constantly at war within you, and they will claim dominance over any good you may possess. When the temptations are strong and you do nothing to combat them, no prayer, no fasting, if you lack the strength of will and discipline to simply refuse to give in to the momentary lure of the flesh, and the will, you will never know the true freedom that belongs to the children of God. All it takes is one fervent prayer, one cry calling My Name or My Mother. One act of will to refuse to give in, and you will be its master. But you give in too easily. You fall often because you are hasty, and you give up the fight too easily. Seek first the things that are from above, from God, and fight the good fight. It may be difficult at first, but the more you combat temptations with prayer, the Sacraments, fasting, and almsgiving, the wiles of the Enemy, the more you exercise the virtues of obedience, humility, and submission to the will of God, and you will soon gain mastery over your baser nature. Pray constantly for help and do nothing to create a climate where sin thrives.  Ask and you will receive all the graces and help you need to win mastery over yourself. Ask your guardian angel to pray for you.
