SIRACH 34:16-17

SIRACH 34:16-17

The eyes of the Lord are on those who love him. 

For them he is powerful protection, strong support; 

shelter against scorching wind and the midday sun. 

He is a safeguard against stumbling 

and assurance against a fall. 

He lifts up the soul and gives a sparkle to the eyes; 

he gives healing, life and blessing.

Never forget for an instant who you belong to, whose you are, and lift up your head and walk with confidence in this knowledge. You are a daughter of the Most High God, Father and Creator of all the living, you are a member of My Body, and you are My Bride. I laid down My Life for you. I have grafted you to My Body. I feed you with My Flesh and I satisfy your thirst with My Blood. The Life-Giving Water that flows from My pierced side washes you clean from all stains of sin. I have claimed you as My own in time and in eternity. I have given you My Holy Spirit, and it is His Breath that keeps you alive and unites you in Love to the Father and to Me. Do not be disheartened when sorrow, disappointment, and the ways of the world become too much for you; rather, lift up your eyes and look at Me who has loved you with a love beyond all telling. I am God, and I love you; I have claimed you for Myself. Be not afraid not for yourself nor for those whom you love and pray for. I AM the Eternal Word, I AM the Word of Life, and I have spoken. No Word from God that issues forth from Him by the Breath of the Spirit will return to Him without fulfilling all that He desires. Have faith, all is well.

EZEKIEL 34:11-12

For thus says the Lord God: 

I myself will search for my sheep, 

and will seek them out.

As shepherds seek out their flocks 

when they are among their scattered sheep, 

so I will seek out my sheep. 

I will rescue them from all the places 

to which they have been scattered 

on a day of clouds and thick darkness.

Morning after morning, I assure you and reassure you that I will seek and save the sheep that are Mine, who belong to My Flock. I will seek them wherever they are, for I know My own and My own know Me. They recognize the sound of My voice, for they are sealed with My Holy Spirit. None of those who belong to Me is ever lost, even if you think they are. I will seek them, I will find them, and I will restore them. Do not be discouraged, do not be anxious, but continue to pray with faith, hope, and without anxiety. I AM God, and I keep My promises. They will return. I will return each one of them to the fold. A day is coming when you will all be together, and you will rejoice and be glad and praise My Father in heaven. Have faith and while you wait for their return, continue to wait, pray, and give thanks for the day and hour of their deliverance and restoration. Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
