WORD OF GOD - MK 3:27

 MARK 3:27

But no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his property without first tying up the strong man; then indeed the house can be plundered.

Be on your guard, always vigilant, now is not the time for slumber, this is not the time to allow yourself to lapse into sinful habits, to grow lazy and careless. Now more than ever you must put on My whole armor and fight the good fight trusting in Me always to provide all the help you need to remain faithful. The devil is a wily, evil beast he knows where you are most vulnerable and this is where he will attack you. Pray for grace and trust Me to provide all the strength you need to overcome victoriously over the enemy.

WORD OF GOD - MK 3:33-35

MARK 3:33-35

‘Who are my mother and my brothers?’ And looking at those who sat around him, Jesus said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.’

Anyone who desires to have a close relationship with Me, anyone who wishes to be my brother and sister and mother, and desires to belong to the family of God must actively seek My Father's will in all things and do it. Yield to His will always and you will be granted a place in My Father's house, a seat at the Wedding Banquet, and you will be co-heir with Me to the Kingdom of God. All who hear My voice and obey, hear and listen to My Father as well, for He and I are one.

WORD OF GOD - LK 4:24

LUKE 4:24

And Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in the prophet’s home town.'

What are your reasons for rejecting the teaching and preaching of some of my anointed? Do your prejudices tune them out when they speak? Does their accent, grammatical errors, inability to speak too well in your language, some inadvertent slip in names and events, absorb you so greatly and create so much chatter in your head you are unable to focus on My Word and the message that the Holy Spirit desires to convey to you? Remember that it is I who choose, appoint, and equip those who speak in My Name. Ask for the grace not to be so caught up in some inconsequential impediments that you fail to hear what I desire to say to you through them.

Never forget this truth, My Father who created you who considers you His masterpiece, who delights in you, and desires that you live in heaven eternally knows your thoughts. He is aware of your anxieties and fears, your hopes and your dreams, your triumphs and your failures, your strengths and your weaknesses, your courage and your cowardice. He knows all so you don't have to be ashamed or hide from Him. He loves you. He understands that you are weak you are frail and that sometimes or even often you will fail, fall, stumble, but His arms are always outstretched toward you. He will catch you lest you hurt yourself. He has entrusted You to Me as well so I can wash you, cleanse, you feed you nourish you, encourage you, and help you persevere with the help of the Holy Spirit. Fear nothing you belong to God. 

WORD OF GOD - JN 4:13-14

JOHN 4:13-14

Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.’

Come, ---- mine,

Drink deep from the living water that flows from My side. Cast aside your sadness and do not allow fear to overwhelm you. Do not forget that I AM God and I AM with you now and always. Lift up your head and hold fast to this truth - you are a member of My Body, you are a daughter of the Most High, the Holy Spirit delights in making His home in you. Be not afraid but in all things glorify My Name. I have won the victory and you and your household are saved. Seek My will, embrace My will, do all that I will and you will have treasures in heaven.

WORD OF GOD - LK 8:12, 15

 LUKE 8:12, 15

 The seed is the word of God. 

But as for that in the good soil, these are the ones who, when they hear the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patient endurance.

This is what I say to you today, receive the Word, hold on to it, let it find a home in your heart, and most importantly - live it. Let My Word shape your life from moment to moment all the days that are given to you in this life. All that you experience of sorrow, joy, hardship, difficulty, pain, are what shapes you. A good disciple endures patiently with faith knowing that in all things God works for the good of those that love Him, those who love Me.

WORD OF GOD - LK 4:18-19

LUKE 4:18-19

‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’

Every disciple who is yoked to Me, walks with Me, and bears the sweet burden of establishing the Kingdom of God on earth, is also empowered by My Spirit. Every disciple is equipped to do all that I have done and even greater things because I am now seated beside My Father in heaven. The Holy Spirit enables you to live a life of grace and fills you with every good and perfect gift. Remain docile to Him for He is the Paraclete, the Comforter, the Helper, and Guide. Every disciple is called to be another Christ and it is the delight of the Holy Spirit to form you and mold you in the image and likeness of God.

WORD OF GOD - LK 8:17-18

LUKE 8:17-18

For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nor is anything secret that will not become known and come to light. Then pay attention to how you listen; for to those who have, more will be given; and from those who do not have, even what they seem to have will be taken away.

To God, all is known your thoughts, your secret sins, your actions that you believe you have skillfully hidden from those around you. If you believe otherwise, you are fooling yourself. The world may be ignorant of who you are but I know all, I see all, and you are an open book to Me. But the day will come when all will know both the good and the evil you have done. Repent while there is still time. Awake from your spiritual slumber, accept the invitation of the Holy Spirit and be drawn into a life of holiness and grace. Now is the time while it is yet today - tomorrow will be too late and you lose even the little that you now have. Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one all you have is today.             

WORD OF GOD - MT 6:19-21

 MATTHEW 6:19-21

‘Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Accept what each day brings of joys, sorrows, disappointments, pain, suffering, loss, cheerfully and willingly without complaint in this way you will store up for yourself treasures in heaven  The things of earth are subject to decay, can be lost, and ultimately will not satisfy your deepest longings but the Holy Spirit can. He is the answer to every prayer. Ask and you will receive the Spirit of Love who has the power to give gifts without measure -gifts that will abound to eternal life.

WORD OF GOD - MK 7:14-15

‘Listen to me, all of you, and understand: there is nothing outside a person that by going in can defile, but the things that come out are what defile.’

Every soul created by My Father is receptive to love - divine love, it is only when you permit the world and the desires for the things of the world that your heart becomes polluted and you hanker for the things that bring death. The will resides within you and it is your will that gives consent to good or evil. The more you become a child of the world and soak in the secular culture of the present age, the less you are able to live in the freedom that belongs to the children of God. Discipline your will and you will choose wisely the things that nurture and encourage supernatural life in your soul. 

WORD OF GOD - LK 4:18-19

LUKE 4:18-19

God anointed Me and I, in turn, anoint you to carry on My mission.  Because you are mine, because you are called by my Name, because you have been anointed with the same Spirit that anointed Me by virtue of your baptism, to you is given to power to do all I have done and even greater things than I have done because I Am now with My Father. Believe, have faith, walk in the light of truth, and know that I who have overcome the world am with you always.

WORD OF GOD - MK 11:24-26

So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

‘Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.’

What I ask of you is not impossible if you model your life on Mine. I forgave my enemies far worse from the Cross you can too. Forgive all the evil that others have done to you or to those you love and any evil you have done will be forgiven you as well. Forgive from the heart and when you do all that you ask of Me in prayer will be granted to you in full measure, pressed down and overflowing. The measure in which you give will be the measure in which you receive so give and forgive generously always.

WORD OF GOD - MK 12:17

 MARK 12:17

Jesus said to them, ‘Give to the emperor the things that are the emperor’s, and to God the things that are God’s.’

Today I remind you that it is important that you give God all that is due to Him. Worship, praise, adoration, time spent alone with Him in prayer, and above all your love. Do not deny Me the things that are rightfully Mine, do not cut corners when it comes to fulfilling your obligations to Me. Render to Me all that is Mine and I will bless you with all the graces and blessings you need always.

WORD OF GOD - MT 8:25-26

MATTHEW 8:25-26

And they went and woke him up, saying, ‘Lord, save us! We are perishing!’ And he said to them, ‘Why are you afraid, you of little faith?’ Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a dead calm.

Be not afraid even though the winds are terrifying and the water swirls over our head threatening to drown you. In the midst of the storm, I Am with you just as I have promised you over and over again. I will never leave you, I will never forsake you for you are my own, I have carved your name on the palm of my hands. When fear and anxiety overwhelm you recall this truth, you are irrevocably mine in time and in eternity. Believe in Me and have faith in My love for you.

WORD OF GOD - MK 10:13-16

MARK 10:13-16

People were bringing little children to him in order that he might touch them; and the disciples spoke sternly to them. But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.’ And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.

The childlike, the simple in heart, the pure in spirit nestle in the bosom of God. It is to children that the kingdom of heaven belongs and anyone who causes these little ones of mine to stumble, or wounds them their cry will pierce the clouds and reach heaven and I will hear and answer. I rebuked the disciples for keeping the children from Me. Children are a joy and a special blessing from God. Too soon will their innocence flee; woe to those who exploit their innocent the wrath of God will visit them and they will have no place to hide from His righteous anger but those who welcome, nurture, protect and ensure that they preserve their childlike spirit will be blessed. 

WORD OF GOD - LK 13:10-13

LUKE13:10-13

 

Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And just then there appeared a woman with a spirit that had crippled her for eighteen years. She was bent over and was quite unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, ‘Woman, you are set free from your ailment.’ When he laid his hands on her, immediately she stood up straight and began praising God.

The more you withhold the good you ought to do the more crippled you become spiritually, until like the woman bent over for eighteen years, you are unable to stand tall. She gave consent to a spirit of meanness and stinginess until it had dominion over her. The moment I laid hands on her and healed her, she was freed from the dark spirit that held her bound and a cripple. She stood tall and began praising God joyfully. Walk in the light always for God is light and in Him, there is no darkness.

WORD OF GOD - LK 12:15

LUKE 12:15

And Jesus said to them, ‘Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.’

The world and those of the world who give no thought or credence to spiritual things promote and proclaim a gospel of death. They propagate the lie that possessing worldly goods will make them happy. But the truth paradoxically is that the more one endeavors to feverishly possess the things of the world the emptier and unhappier one becomes. No one can serve God and the gods of the world, not only is this idolatry but it is impossible to be loyal to two masters. The truly joyous person is one who is wholly and unashamedly attached to God and believes the world is well lost for My sake and for the sake of God's Kingdom. 

WORD OF GOD -LK 14:12-14

LUKE 14:12-14

Jesus said also to the one who had invited him, ‘When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.’

You desire Me to walk with you, live in you, remain with you, this is possible when you embrace those less unfortunate than yourself. Remember charity begins at home. It takes courage and discipline to be unfailingly kind to those whom you do not feel so inclined to be kind to because you find them difficult. In their weakness, in their incapacity to be appealing to you but rather quite the opposite, it takes an act of will to see Me in them. Never forget, whatever you do, good or ill, to any of these little ones, you do to Me.

WORD OF GOD - MT 7:21-23

MATTHEW 7:21-23

‘Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord”, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?” Then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.”

Holiness consists in doing the will of God consistently, moment by moment, when it is easy and when it isn't. In fact, there is greater merit when you strive to do God's will when it is hardest, when it costs you the most, when every fiber in your being resists, yet you yield in perfect submission and embrace God's will. It is never easy. The cross is and always was an instrument of torture and all who nail their will to it, all who cheerfully take up the cross of self-annihilation and self-immolation in order to more perfectly walk in the way of truth and love, light and life, will have God as their friend.
