ISAIAH 25:4, 8-9 (2025)

ISAIAH 25:4, 8-9

4 For you have been a refuge to the poor,
a refuge to the needy in their distress,
a shelter from the rainstorm and a shade from the heat.
When the blast of the ruthless was like a winter rainstorm,
8 he will swallow up death for ever.
Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces,
and the disgrace of his people he will take away from all the earth,
for the Lord has spoken.
9 It will be said on that day,
Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, so that he might save us.
This is the Lord for whom we have waited;
let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

---- mine,

I Am your God, your refuge, your shade, your deliverer, your provider, your Lord, and your God. Come to Me, abide in Me, rest in Me. Have no fear but in everything, even the things that trouble you, make you anxious, fill you with sadness, and make you tremble with worry and sorrow, have faith! AM I not God and the Son of God? Nothing is impossible for Me. Trust in My everlasting love for you and remember, all things without exception, work for good for those who love Me, for those who are called by My Name. Fear nothing, ---- my own, fear does nothing except weaken your faith, your hope, and your love and trust in Me. Be still and know that I AM God and My hand is mighty to save. Come to Me, bring all your troubles to Me, make all your anxieties known to Me, and rest in Me. Be of good cheer ---- My own, I will never forget you. I hear you, I see you, I know you, I have counted every hair on your head and not one falls without my being aware of it just as I know when a sparrow falls and never forget that you and your loved ones are worth more than many sparrows.
