MARK 9:21-24, 27 (2026)

MARK 9:21-24, 27

Then Jesus asked the father, “How long has this been happening to him?” He replied, “From childhood.
And it has often thrown him into the fire and into the water to destroy him. If you can do anything, have pity on us and help us.”
Jesus said to him, “Why do you say, ‘If you can?’ All things are possible for one who believes.”
Immediately, the father of the boy cried out, “I do believe, but help the little faith I have.”
But Jesus took him by the hand and raised him; and the boy stood up.

---- my own,

Your children are the children of Abba, who is your Father and My Father, and who belonged to Him before ever they were yours. You cannot love them more nor desire their salvation more than He does. Why do you think He sent Me, His firstborn, into the world? He did so only because He knew that seeing the sacrifice of My life paid to redeem you from the pit of hell and covering you in My Blood, He would recall the total outpouring of My life in bitter agony for your redemption, and He would forgive all your sins and the sins of the whole world. Anyone who approached Him for mercy humbly, sorrowful and contrite of heart, and resolving to sin no more will be forgiven all their sins. So do not worry. Do not fret. Pray with confidence that God, who desires the salvation of those you love with a greater love and passion than you could ever feel, will hear and answer you. The father of the boy who was possessed by an evil spirit had a great sorrow laid on his heart. He longed for his son to be healed and live the life that God had ordained for him. When he approached my disciples to heal him, they could not. They then came to Me. I looked at the poor, distraught father of the  boy, and My Heart was wrung with pity when he said, 'If you can do anything, have pity on us and help us.' But I needed him to first make an honest declaration of faith, so I said to him, “Why do you say, ‘If you can?’ All things are possible for one who believes.” He replied, “I do believe, but help the little faith I have.” That's all I need from you, ---- mine, ask honestly, tell Me everything, hide nothing, even if it is a poor, weak, faltering faith, let Me know. Sincerity and honesty, together with humility and sorrow for your sins, will always obtain for you all you ask for with the little faith that you do possess. Ask boldly, and you will receive. Seek sincerely, and you will find. Knock insistently, and the door to My Heart will be thrown wide open to you. So do not be anxious about anything, but with praise and thanksgiving make all your needs known to Me, and I hear and answer you, and you will glorify My Name always.
