ROMANS 8:14-17

14 Everyone who walks in God’s Spirit is a son or daughter of God.
15 Then, do not fear anymore: you did not receive a spirit of slavery, but the spirit that makes you sons and daughters, and every time we cry, “Abba! (which means Dad!) Father!”
16 The Spirit reassures our spirit that we are sons and daughters of God.
17 If we are children, then we are also heirs. Our inheritance will be from God, and we will share it with Christ; for if we suffer with him now, we will also share in his glory.

Why are you downcast? Why so sad? Why are you anxious? Do you not yet understand whose you are?
Read the scripture texts through which I AM speaking to you today and be convinced that you who are baptized and grafted into My Body, you who belong as a member of the Church I founded on Peter, you who are confirmed in the Spirit of God, and who receive My Life in you. You who feast on My Body and My Blood in the Holy Eucharist have God for your Dad, your Abba, and Me as the Beloved of your soul and your Bridegroom.
My Spirit animates you, sanctifies you, strengthens you, consoles and comforts you, and assures you and reassures you for as long as you need to be reassured that you — Mine — are the daughter of the Most High, and so is your spouse, and your daughter and sons. You have received an inheritance that is imperishable and eternal because you are co-heirs with Me to the Kingdom of God.
But remember there is no crown of glory without first walking with Me the pilgrim journey from Gethsemane to Golgotha and being crucified with Me on the Cross. In this suffering, in the tribulation, in drinking to the dregs the Cup of Suffering and being purified, only then can you enter and be seated at the Table of the Lord as the bride of the Bridegroom and feast at the wedding banquet forever.

ACTS 8:32-33

32 This was the passage of Scripture he was reading: 

He was led like a sheep to be slaughtered; like a lamb that is dumb before the shearer, he did not open his mouth.

33 He was humbled and deprived of his rights. Who can speak of his descendants? For he was uprooted from the earth.

You complain, you plead, you find it hard to carry the little crosses that come your way. You believe that the sorrow and trouble you are called to bear are too difficult. Now take a moment and consider what the prophets have spoken concerning the Suffering Servant, and how every one of their prophecies was fulfilled. You know these passages well—written by the prophets at various times and fulfilled as testified by witnesses and testified by the writers of the Gospels and the Epistles.
Look at Me ---- mine, and consider who I AM and what the Father willed for Me—for your sake and for the salvation of the world. My Father has spoken, and confirmed that I AM His well-beloved Son, with whom He is well pleased, because I was humble even unto death, death on the Cross.
The sacrifice of the Passover lambs in Exodus and every lamb that has been slaughtered at Passover through the years by the chosen people—until the Lamb of God was born ended when the Lamb of God came into the world in the likeness of men, through the incarnation in the womb of the Virgin. As a Man I suffered every sorrow, every deprivation, every cruelty, and every abandonment that the children of men suffer. Anyone who says that they undergo a grief or loss that I cannot understand is a liar or is ignorant of Me. I understand all too well, for I bore all your difficulties, I carried your shame, I bore all your sins, and I paid the price for your redemption by becoming the Lamb of slaughter—pouring out Myself, My life’s blood, to wash away and make reparation for the sins of the whole world, beginning with Adam.
Do not complain when you are called to bear your cross; bear it patiently, for you do not carry it alone. I AM yoked with you. I bear it with you. I AM beside you. And it is in the carrying of the cross with patient obedience and humility that the salvation of all those you pray for with a broken heart and a grief-laden spirit will come to pass. For I offer all your prayers, all your sacrifices united with My once-for-all Sacrifice—to the Father for the atonement of their sins, and yours, and the sins of the whole world.
So do not be anxious about anything, but with prayer, praise, and thanksgiving continue to pray. The victory that I have already won for them will come to pass at the time and the hour appointed by My Father. Believe and rejoice, for I AM God—and the victory is won.
