LUKE 2:34-35, 33, 19

34 Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary, his mother, “Know this: your son is a sign; a sign established for the falling and rising of many in Israel, a sign of contradiction; 

35 and a sword will pierce your own soul, so that, out of many hearts, thoughts may be revealed.”
33 His father and mother wondered at what was said about the child
19 As for Mary, she treasured all these words, and pondered them in her heart.

Pay close attention to My Word given to you this day on My birthday. Ponder, reflect, contemplate, and let My Word become the light to your feet and a lamp to your path until you take your last breath on earth and your first breath in heaven. Simeon prophesied to My Mother, My foster father, St. Joseph, to all who heard him at the time, and to every believer before I come again in glory and majesty to establish My Kingship and Lordship over all the Earth. He begins with the words, 'KNOW THIS,' and begins to prophecy all that the Holy Spirit reveals through his lips. I AM the Son, am the Sign that came down from heaven to redeem the world and everything in it. A world fallen by the original sin of Adam and Eve tainted all creation and brought evil and death into the world. They sold their inheritance and lost it forever. To redeem their debt and the tainted nature they bequeathed to every generation after them, I became the Sign of Contradiction that would be rejected by many in the world. Good and evil are laid bare, and many choose evil over good. But all who choose Me gain life on earth and eternally in heaven. By their fruits you can know those who are Mine and those who belong to the realm of the father of lies. Both My Mother and My foster father, Joseph, wondered what the words of Simeon could mean. And My Mother treasured all these things in her heart and pondered them all her life. She understood little by little as the events in My life unfolded. If you do the same, you too will come to understand the mystery of God's love for the world. A love so great that He sent Me into it, His only Son, to become the means by which the world and all in it was redeemed. The price was My life in exchange for your death. Rejoice and give thanks always for your salvation and for the salvation of the world. Pray with faith, and the salvation of the people you love and plead for with tears will most assuredly be answered.
