SIRACH 34:16-17
Those who fear the Lord will not be timid,or play the coward, for he is their hope.
Happy is the soul that fears the Lord!

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. To know and love Me is to desire never to displease or offend Me. This healthy fear enables you to do all I ask of you in obedience and humility. To fear the wrath of the world rather than God is timidity and vanity. To seek My approval in all things no matter the cost takes courage and strength which the soul possesses if it is possessed by Me. Such a soul is happy and blessed.
