Mark 7:14-16
“Listen to me, all of you, and try to understand.
Nothing that enters a person from the outside
can make that person unclean.
It is what comes from within
that makes a person unclean.
Let everyone who has ears listen.”

Good or evil reside in the heart and determine your actions. It is not what you say but what you do that reflects who you truly are. Examine your conscience daily, repent and ask for forgiveness and make a decision to root out sin and avoid the inclination to sin by doing good and resisting evil.
