MARK 10:35-36, 51-52 (2025)

MARK 10:35-36, 51-52

James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Jesus and said to him, “Master, we want you to grant us what we are going to ask of you.”
And he said, “What do you want me to do for you?”

Then Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said, “Master, let me see again!”
And Jesus said to him, “Go your way, your faith has made you well.” And, immediately, he could see, and he followed Jesus along the road.

---- mine,

Any time and every time you approach Me as the disciples James and John and Bartimaeus did, and you make known the desires of your heart to Me in faith, I will hear you and I will answer you. I will always give you what you ask for. However, if I have something far better in mind, then I will deny giving it to you; instead, what you will receive is something far better than anything you could ever hope for or dream of, and your heart will be filled with joy. Too often, ----, my own, your vision is limited. You are unable to see the whole of My plan for your life as I do. Do not be discouraged when you keep praying and asking, knocking and seeking, and the door remains firmly shut. Instead, know this. That I AM constantly at work and I will order circumstances to work out according to My will. And yes, all that you ask for in faith will be granted to you, perhaps not in the way you desired but far better than you could ever imagine or hope for. Be prepared to be delighted at the mighty works and the mighty hand of God, who is always at work in your favor to give you a future and a hope far beyond your limited finite ability to comprehend. Have faith, hope, and do not be worried about anything. Worry is useless. Rather, let your heart be filled with expectant joy at the wonderful new things I AM about to begin in the lives of those who are nearest and dearest to your heart, and they too will rejoice and follow Me.
