MATTHEW 14:27-33 (2025)

MATTHEW 14:27-33

27 But at once, Jesus said to them, “Courage! Don’t be afraid. It’s me!” 28 Peter answered, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” 29 Jesus said to him, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But seeing the strong wind, he was afraid, and began to sink; and he cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31 Jesus immediately stretched out his hand and took hold of him, saying, “Man of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 As they got into the boat, the wind dropped. 33 Then those in the boat bowed down before Jesus, saying, “Truly, you are the Son of God!”

---- mine,

You need never be afraid, and even when you are, all you need to do is call out to Me, and before the words escape your lips, you will find Me beside you. I will take you by the hand, I will calm your fears, I will fill you with peace. Am I not the Bridegroom of your soul, am I not your Brother, your Redeemer, your Savior, your closest Friend, and your most ardent Divine Lover? Why then do you permit doubt, fears, anxieties, troubling questions to fill your mind, your heart, soul, and spirit and allow yourself to be filled with turmoil like the churning waves, and the storms of your fearful thoughts which like a mighty wind toss you about and overwhelm and threaten to sink you in the depths of the ocean of discouragement and fear? Have faith, ---- my own, do not look at the storm of emotions, and fears with which Satan tempts you, it is a ploy to separate you from Me and My love. Have faith and even with the scrap of faith you have, reach out to Me, take hold of My hand which is always stretched out to you, and I assure you I will grasp it and I will never let go. With me, you will enter the Boat, which is My Sacred Heart, My Church, and there I will keep you safe. I will nourish you, I will cradle you to My breast. I will comfort you and I will feed you with the finest wheat, the Bread of Angels, Manna from Heaven, and fill your mouth with the sweetest of wine, My Sacred Blood, and I will be your God and you will be My own in time and in eternity.
