LUKE 6:35-36
Love your enemies and do good to them, and lend when there is nothing to expect in return. Then will your reward be great, and you will be sons and daughters of the Most High. For he is kind toward the ungrateful and the wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

It is the way of the world to make much of those who have worldly power, influence, and wealth but it must not be so with you. Do not think yourself better than anyone, do not despise anyone on the basis of their faith, culture, color, or nationality all are children of the same God whether they know it or not. Your Father is their Father as well and just like your heavenly Father, you too must be unfailingly kind and merciful to everyone always.
