WORD OF GOD - LK 15:21-24

LUKE 15:21-24

Then the son said to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.” But the father said to his slaves, “Quickly, bring out a robe—the best one—and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. And get the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!” And they began to celebrate.

---- mine,

I know you are a sinner, I know you have sinned, I know that you are sorry, contrite, ashamed. I am aware that your motives are not always pure for I who
created you know you better than you know yourself. It is enough for Me to know that you are repentant, it is enough for Me that you desire to return to Me with all your heart. Remember that apart from Me you will die in your sins. You need My grace to live so each time you wander from the fold return to Me and no matter how gravely you have sinned you will discover that no sin can ever be greater than My mercy. Nothing is lost that cannot be restored a hundredfold through the merits I won for you on the Cross.
