ISAIAH 35:3-7 (2025)

ISAIAH 35:3-7 Strengthen the weak hands,    and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are of a fearful heart,    ‘Be strong, do not fear! Here is your God.    He will come with vengeance, with terrible recompense.    He will come and save you.’

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,    and the ears of the deaf unstopped; then the lame shall leap like a deer,    and the tongue of the speechless sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness,    and streams in the desert; the burning sand shall become a pool,    and the thirsty ground springs of water; the haunt of jackals shall become a swamp,    the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

Take heart. Do not lose courage. Be not afraid. Am I not here? Am I not the Bridegroom of your soul? Aren't you mine, my very own? Trust Me! It is I, the Son of the Living God who says to you this day – I will strengthen you, I will steady you, I will fill your heart with courage. I will fight for you and assist you to overcome your weaknesses, your frailties, your flesh and all that renders you easy prey to the enemy. I Am the Lord your God, nothing is impossible for Me. I will open the eyes, the ears, and I will strengthen the limbs of everyone you pray for daily. Each one whom you lay on My Altar at daily Mass, All whose troubles you bring before Me and before heaven I will hear and I will answer. I will make a way where there is no way. I will open streams of living water in arid hearts, souls, and lives. I will destroy all trace of evil and I will root out all that hinders the work of My Spirit in these souls that you pray for and plead for daily. I AM the Lord your God and all that I have said I will do. Be of good cheer, ---- my own, I have overcome the world.
