She gave to holy people the reward of their labours;
she guided them along a marvellous way,
and became a shelter to them by day,
and a starry flame through the night.

Look at the lives of the saints, study them, and see for yourself what is possible to those who offer themselves, their whole lives, all that they are and hope to be into My hands. They surrender all their plans, hopes, and desires, all that their flesh desires, and all that would give them ease in their natural appetites which are lawful and not sinful for the greater glory of God. See at how marvelously they were rewarded and although while they were alive all the marvels that were being wrought in their lives may or may not have been apparent, yet little by little day by day they allowed the Holy Spirit to image them in My likeness and they were transformed. Even as they crucified the desires of the flesh, even as they gave up and mortified their flesh to embrace poverty chastity, and obedience to those in authority they became more resplendent in My light and life as they became more and more imbued in a life of grace and the fire of love enkindled in their hearts by the Holy Spirit. The more you desire to forget yourself, forget the cravings of your flesh, deny yourself even legitimate pleasures for the sake of My Kingdom, and take up your cross daily and follow Me you too will like they become light and salt in a world that is growing increasing dark and tasteless as the world gives itself up to decadence, decay and death. You who know Me, love Me and desire to please Me look to the holy ones who have walked before you and strive to imitate them. They are a testament to all that is possible to those who willingly and gladly die so they can truly live a life of amazing grace.
