SONG OF SONGS 3:1-4 Upon my bed at night I sought him whom my soul loves; I sought him, but found him not; I called him, but he gave no answer.  ‘I will rise now and go about the city, in the streets and in the squares; I will seek him whom my soul loves.’ I sought him, but found him not.

The sentinels found me, as they went about in the city. ‘Have you seen him whom my soul loves?’ Scarcely had I passed them, when I found him whom my soul loves. I held him, and would not let him go until I brought him into my mother’s house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

If you seek Me you will find Me if you seek Me with all your heart. You must hunger and thirst for Me. You must desire Me more than food or drink. You must yearn for Me like a deer yearns for running water and having found Me who am closer to you than your breath, ---- my own, you will find the pearl of great price, the treasure hidden in the field, you will find Living Water and you will never be thirsty again. Unless you desire Me with every fiber of your being just as the saints did, you will never experience the abundance of joy from possessing Me in fullness and in truth. Leave the world behind, overcome the cravings of your flesh. Every day you master concupiscence by denying yourself, taking up the cross designed just for you, and follow Me. The Way to the Kingdom is narrow and few choose it and only if you choose it will you find Me, and having found Me, you will cling to Me and never let Me go. Those who seek Me ardently will discover that I delight in being found. Seek Me who seeks you and you will find Me. Cling to Me and I in turn will not let you go. I will not leave you or forsake you, I will espouse you and you will be Mine forever.
