She reaches out her hand to the helpless and gives to the poor.
She is strong and dignified and looks with confidence to the future.
She speaks wisely and her words are kind.
She keeps an eye on the conduct of her household and is never idle.

How many women today can claim that they follow the example of this ideal woman of substance that the Book of Proverbs praises and sets up as a model for us to follow? Unless women are familiar with Sacred Scripture and its wisdom permeates their soul and entire being how can they know the heart and mind of God who has given the world the perfect model for wise women to follow - My Mother, the Holy Virgin, who conceived in her womb the Word of God, the Son of God, and the Son of Man? A woman has the power to make or break the members of her household, however, if you follow the example of all the holy women who loved the Mother of God and embraced her as their Mother as well, you too will receive all the spiritual and temporal help you need to live a holy life filled with the love of God and the grace of the Holy Spirit.
