My Beloved, I have always been afraid and timid. You know it
and I know it. Yet, You have not allowed
me to hide behind my fears but have constantly challenged me. Not in grandiose
ways my Beloved as my pride would have it but in little ways You have invited
me to serve. Little responsibilities that You have helped me accomplish. Today You
invite me to take risks, to go further into unknown territory with this
certainty that You are with me and with You my Lord all things are possible. I
will be able to do all things because You will supply all I need.
