GOD’S WORD TODAY

Matthew 4:19
As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the lake—for they were fishermen.  And He said to them, “Come follow Me, and I will make you fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed Him.

---- My Own, I have extended My invitation to You as well, “Come follow Me.” And you have been following Me for some time now. True discipleship involves sacrifice it is an invitation to cast aside everything that You have known intellectually and to be moved to the depths of your being by the Good News of salvation. Unless you have a core conviction of the message of life and hope you will throw your net but will catch nothing. Unless you are yoked to Me you will have neither the fire nor the Spirit to make a catch. I have been with you all this time, begin again and this time take you gaze away from yourself, and fix it where it ought to be - on Me, always on Me.
