Keep awake and praythat you may not come into the time of trial;
the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

This is the hour for prayer - too long have you been asleep to the Spirit and awake to the flesh. Put to death the things that choke the Spirit and kindle the fire of divine love with the breath of the Spirit of God. The night is almost ended and the Day of the Lord is at hand. If you are caught asleep when I arrive it will be to your ruin. Wake up and prepare before it is too late.
