at the rumours heard in the land—
one year one rumour comes,
the next year another,
rumours of violence in the land
and of ruler against ruler.

You say you trust Me, you have faith in Me, you believe in My Word and place all your hope in Me - why then are you feeling discouraged right now? Am I not God - the same yesterday, today and forever? Am I not the Alpha and the Omega - the beginning and the end? Fix your gaze on Me and My Word and not on the world - the world and all in it will perish but those who are called by My Name will live forever. Be not afraid - I have overcome the world.
