Much division, hatred, fear, violence, and evil are caused by words that result in the heart becoming bitter and the soul overcome by sadness and suffering. Words must be used to build up not to tear down. Discord is sown by unnecessary words carelessly spoken. It is far better to hold your tongue and be silent no matter what the provocation. It is better to be humble than to be right. It is better to love than to win an argument and lose a friend.
