It is the easiest thing in the world to retaliate when someone does you wrong and oftentimes the reaction is much greater than the offence. It takes courage to be silent, to say nothing, to turn the other cheek. Meekness is mistaken for timidity yet anyone who has tried it will know that it takes great strength of character to be gentle in the face of violence. To those who are My disciples I say, "Peace be with you! My peace I give to you; not as the world gives peace do I give it to you. Do not be troubled! Do not be afraid!" Put your faith, hope and trust in Me; love never disappoints.
