WORD OF GOD - MK 14:22-25

 MARK 14:22-25

While they were eating, he took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to them, and said, ‘Take; this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, and all of them drank from it. He said to them, ‘This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. Truly I tell you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.’

Never miss any opportunity that is presented to you to go to Holy Mass and receive My Body and Blood. This Gift was made possible in a Sacrifice so great, human intellect can never fully comprehend it. The all encompassing love of the Father for His wayward children made the great exchange of life for death on the Cross possible. Without the life that comes from eating and drinking Me you cannot make the journey from this world to the next. Only the surpassing grace of the Sacraments makes it possible. The most consummate way to abide in Me and to abide in My love, is through the Holy Eucharist.

Then Haggai, the messenger of the Lord, spoke to the people with the Lord’s message, “I am with you, says the Lord.”

When you are discouraged, when you are tempted to believe that I do not hear your prayers and your supplications, when you do not feel My Presence in and around you and you feel that I AM no longer with you, remember this irrevocable promise that I make to all who belong to Me, I AM with you always. No matter what you feel the fact is that I will never leave you, never. Believe, have faith. I will never forget you your name is carved on the palms of My hand. When the storm rages around you, overwhelms you, be still and you will find Me in the eye of the storm. I will never leave you, never abandon you, I AM your healer, your Savior, your Lord, and your God and I AM also your Friend, Brother, and Spouse, I never forget My own.

WORD OF GOD - MK 12:17

MARK 12:17

Jesus said to them, ‘Give to the emperor the things that are the emperor’s, and to God the things that are God’s.’ And they were utterly amazed at him.

When God's law of love is engraved in your heart you will have no trouble at all distinguishing between what belongs to the rulers of the world and what belongs to God. Respect for all legitimate authority is a duty. Obey the just laws of the land you live in so long as they are not in opposition to God's law. You will know in your spirit when it is right, good and fitting to obey the laws of the land in which you dwell so everyone can live in peace and harmony. God must be first, last, and always. When you give God the first place in your life and total allegiance to His commandments you will never fail to know the difference between the two. 

WORD OF GOD - MT 9:9

MATTHEW 9:9

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth; and he said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And he got up and followed him.

All are called, all receive the same invitation that I extended to Matthew and each of My Apostles, 'Follow Me.' Many, like Matthew, leave everything behind, often without a backward glance, but many, like the rich young man who had many possessions, go away sad, they lack the courage to follow their heart. Today, once again,  I invite you to follow Me. What do you think your greatest regret will be when you are on the threshold of death - that you did not love Me as completely as you know you could have because you were too attached to some frivolous pastime that robbed you of the precious hours you could have spent in close intimacy with Me?

WORD OF GOD - EZ 18:31-32

EZEKIEL 18:31-32

Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed against me, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why will you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live.

Anyone who desires to belong to Me must be stripped of all that displeases Me. You can do nothing on your own. Ask and you will receive grace and help from the Holy Spirit. He will enable you to live as a child of the Father and an heir to the Kingdom. No one who is marked by My Spirit, cleansed in the waters of baptism, sealed in My Blood, and absolved of all sin in the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be lost. Remain in My love and you will live in Me. Fear nothing except the loss of your immortal soul.

WORD OF GOD - LK 13:11-13

LUKE 13:11-13

Just then there appeared a woman with a spirit that had crippled her for eighteen years. She was bent over and was quite unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, ‘Woman, you are set free from your ailment.’ When he laid his hands on her, immediately she stood up straight and began praising God.

What worldly spirits cripple you and render it difficult for you to stand confidently before Me? What spirit have you permitted to gain a foothold into your life so it is impossible for you to be wholly and unconditionally Mine? What cripples your spirit making it impossible for you to give full rein and reign to My Spirit that I have given you and whom you constantly sadden? This is the moment, this is the hour, this is the day when I invite you into My Presence, I touch you, and I heal you, I set you free to be the person God created you to be. Be whole, be clean, be Mine. 

WORD OF GOD - MT 17:5-7

MATTHEW 17:5-7

While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud a voice said, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; with him I am well pleased; listen to him!’ When the disciples heard this, they fell to the ground and were overcome by fear. But Jesus came and touched them, saying, ‘Get up and do not be afraid.’

Listen to Me, obey My Word, yield and submit to My will for your life and you will discover that you need never fear anything for I, the Lord your God am with you to protect you. I AM with you always. With Me, you will rise on the wings of the eagle and you will make your home on Mt. Zion the place where I dwell. And I will feed you on heavenly manna and you will drink deep of the Cup of Salvation that gives life, hope, and joy to all who love Me and have Me for their Friend, Beloved, and Bridegroom. Be not afraid because I Am with you and I will remain with you always.

WORD OF GOD - LK 9:18-20

LUKE 9:18-20

Once when Jesus was praying alone, with only the disciples near him, he asked them, ‘Who do the crowds say that I am?’ They answered, ‘John the Baptist; but others, Elijah; and still others, that one of the ancient prophets has arisen.’ He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ Peter answered, ‘The Messiah of God.’

The crowds, those of the world, those who refuse to follow where Truth leads; can never know Me. The first step to knowing Me is to have a hunger and thirst for Truth and to pursue Truth relentlessly unafraid of where it leads you. Truth will bring you Face to face with Me, the Messiah, the Son of God and the Son of Man. Desire Truth, seek it with all your heart, for Truth alone will set you free from all that hinders you from having a right relationship with God who is the source of all wisdom and Truth.

WORD OF GOD - LK 14:21B-23

LUKE 14:21B-24

Then the owner of the house became angry and said to his slave, “Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.” And the slave said, “Sir, what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.” Then the master said to the slave, “Go out into the roads and lanes, and compel people to come in, so that my house may be filled. For I tell you, none of those who were invited will taste my dinner.”

My Father invites His chosen people to the Banquet but too many of them are indifferent. The children of God being caught up with worldly pursuits have closed their eyes and ears to God's call. Since those who were invited refused to come the Father extends His invitation to all people of goodwill.  Everyone is invited and all who respond are given a seat at the wedding banquet but not without the proper wedding garment, the baptismal robe that signifies that you have said yes to God's call. Unless you are robed in the garment of salvation you can have no place at the Table of Eternal Life.

WORD OF GOD - MK 29:22B-24

Mark 9:22B-24

'If you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us.’

Jesus said to him, ‘If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.’ Immediately the father of the child cried out, ‘I believe; help my unbelief!’

Often you approach Me with the faith of the father of the young man who was possessed by an evil spirit. Yours is sometimes a hesitant faith, you are not quite as faith-filled as you would like to be. What I said to that father I say to you today, "I AM able to do all things. I AM the God of the impossible. I AM always able to do for you all that you ask. Believe, and all that you ask for in faith will be given to you. No father will ever withhold any good thing that their child desires. Ask in faith, and what you ask for in faith, even if that faith is still hesitant and wavering will be given to you. Ask and you will witness the power of God, the love of God, and the faithfulness of God, always.

WORD OF GOD - 1 PET 2:9

1 PETER 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

You are a daughter of God, you belong to God's family, you are joint heir to the Kingdom of Heaven, God has prepared a place for you with Me so you can remain with Me eternally. Before He laid the foundations of the world you were already conceived in the mind and heart of God. You are called out of the darkness of sin and death into the marvelous Light of the Eternal Son of the Father. You are created for a purpose - to announce the Good News of salvation by the witness of your life. For as long as there is breath in your body you must witness to the love of God. 

WORD OF GOD - JN 14:6-7

JOHN 14:6-7

Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.’

You believe Me, you take Me at My Word, you know that I AM who  AM - the First Born of the Living God. You know that I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no one can come to My Father except through Me. This is why it is imperative that you make Me known and loved for it is the will of My Father that none of His little ones should perish. My Father desires that all be saved and come to the knowledge of Truth - I AM the Truth. Because you know Me, because you believe in Me, because you believe in My Word you know My Father as well, you have seen Him for anyone who knows Me knows My Father too. It is He who sent Me into the world not to condemn it but to redeem it. Believe and you will be saved and not just you but you and your entire household as well. This is My assurance to you.

WORD OF GOD - PS 46:10

PSALM 46:10

‘Be still, and know that I am God!
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth.’

Be still! Quiet all the voices within you that are clamoring for attention. Empty yourself of all that is not of Me or of My Kingdom until your whole being is bathed in the great silence, the infinity in your soul, the place where I make my home and where I delight to dwell. Reject every thought that hinders you from approaching Me and from sitting at My feet. Become aware of My gaze on you, meet my gaze with your own, and experience the love of God. Let it pour into your soul, calm your spirit, fill your being with light, life, and grace. Be still, ----, my own, and know that I AM God. I love you with a love beyond all your imagining. Make all your needs known to Me and I will give you all you need. I AM the Lord your God and nothing is impossible for Me.

WORD OF GOD - JN 8:31-32

JOHN 8:31-32

Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, ‘If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.’

Pilate asked the question, what is truth? But he was not interested in the answer. Truth is not something that one makes up along the way. Truth does not change with the seasons. Truth does not need to be bolstered up it stands strong, straight, and tall on its own, and no matter how great the winds the storm, and the waves that buffet it from every side it will not be overcome for truth is invincible. Truth is a Person, Truth has a Name, Truth always is, always was, and always will be. Nothing defeats Truth. Evil is constantly waging war against it in different guises and sometimes it may seem that evil has won but that is Satan's greatest lie. Nothing can overpower or overcome the Truth. It is the Light that shines on the hilltop and guides all people of goodwill on the Way that leads to Eternal Life and the Kingdom of God. I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life no one comes to the Father except through Me.

WORD OF GOD - IS 57:17

ISAIAH 54:17

No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper,
and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord
and their vindication from me, says the Lord.

You belong to Me and because you are my own My mighty protection covers you. Since you have made your home under the shelter of My wings the world has no power over you nor does evil nor the terrors of the night or the arrows that fly by day because I keep you safe. My Word upholds you and sustains you. Walk in the Light of My Word and you will not stray from the path of life. You are My servant, make My Word your home, your dwelling place your place of rest and refuge and you will remain unharmed by the wiles of the Enemy. Remain in My Word.

WORD OF GOD - MT 18:12-14

MATTHEW 18:12-14

What do you think? If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.

God's thoughts are not your thoughts, God's ways are not your ways. No shepherd would leave his ninety-nine sheep to go and look for one that has strayed; to his mind, he would be putting the sheep that were safe at risk. But God does not think as you do - for Him, every sheep is precious the one that is lost just as much as those that are safe. You are created by God for God to Him alone You belong. As long as you live there will be a constant struggle between good and evil, temptation will beset you as long as you have breath in your body, but remember good has triumphed, the victory is won. You are redeemed by My Blood and you are saved. Fight the good fight to the end, all the grace and help you need will be provided to you.  Frequent the Sacraments and be filled with My Spirit who delights in making His home in the hearts of God's people.

WORD OF GOD - JER 33:3

JEREMIAH 33:3

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Call to Me as confidently as a child calls to its mother and father and I will come to you every time you call. I never tire of hearing you ask for My help and I give it gladly, always. Fear nothing there is no power on earth that can separate you from My love except your sins and your deliberate disobedience to My commandments. Spend time each day in My Presence and I will come to you and we will speak to each other and I will reveal to you the wonderful plans that I have for you. Pay attention to all that I have to say to you and do it and you will soon find yourself on the narrow path that leads to the Kingdom of God.

WORD OF GOD - MK 6:56

MARK 6:56

And wherever he went, into villages or cities or farms, they laid the sick in the market-places, and begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak; and all who touched it were healed.

The Sacraments instituted by Me and administered to you and every member of My Body, the Church, are tangible ways to touch Me, be touched by Me, and be healed.  In My Word to you today you see how people clamored to touch just the fringe of My cloak and all who touched it were healed. How much more will you experience the fullness of My Presence, My love, My grace, My blessings when you are incorporated into My Body, eat My Flesh, drink My Blood, are washed clean and forgiven of all your sins each time you approach the confessional with a contrite and repentant heart. In every Sacrament of the Church it is I who feed you, cleanse you, anoint you, consecrate you, heal you, bless you, from the moment of your Baptism until I anoint you at the end of life's journey so you can come to Me and remain with Me eternally.

WORD OF GOD - PS 31:19-20

 PSALM 31:19-20

O how abundant is your goodness
that you have laid up for those who fear you,
and accomplished for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of everyone!

In the shelter of your presence you hide them
from human plots;
you hold them safe under your shelter
from contentious tongues.

Fear nothing! I AM the Lord your God who has saved you from the jaws of death. I have set you high on the Rock where no harm will come to you and those you love and pray for each day. I AM the Lord your God is anything too difficult for Me? It is I who have drawn you to shelter in My Shadow. Be still. Know that I AM God and you belong to Me now and always. Believe!

WORD OF GOD - ESTHER 5:3

ESTHER 5:3

The king said to her, ‘What is it, Queen Esther?

What is your request? 

It shall be given you, even to the half of my kingdom.’

Why are you troubled, why are you anxious, why are you afraid, do you not know that you are a daughter of the Father, I AM you Brother, your Friend, and your Spouse, and the Holy Spirit is in you? Do not be afraid for I, the Lord your God, am with you every moment of every day. I stoop low over you, I breathe My breath into you, I keep you alive I sustain you with My Flesh, I wash you clean with My Blood, I quench your thirst with Living Water that overflows from My Sacred Heart to you and refreshes you. I have reserved a place only for you in My Heart and My arms are always wide open to receive you. Fear nothing except sin and remember that you are mine in time and in eternity. The Kingdom of God belongs to you because God desires you to be co-heir with Me. Be still, know that I AM God, and I AM with you always.

WORD OF GOD - JN 12:24

JOHN 12:24

Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

Unless you die to yourself you will remain barren and eventually, you will be cut off and cast into the everlasting fire. All who are grafted into My Body must and should bear good fruit that will last. Root out the sin that is in you, if not You cannot remain in Me and My life will not remain in you. Live a life that is worthy of your calling as a child of God and as a member of the family of God. It is by the fruit you bear that you will be recognized whether or not you are My disciple.

WORD OF GOD - MT 21:22

^'Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.'

Every time you prayed for others and brought their needs before Me have I not answered every prayer, so why are you discouraged when it comes to praying for your own needs? Trust Me to grant all that you ask for in faith. Am I not the same God who answered your prayers in the past? Approach Me with the confidence of a child knowing that I love you and will provide you all you need. Do not be disheartened, discouraged, or anxious but pray with confidence and do not tire of praying constantly. I delight in you and I delight in answering your prayers. Believe that all you ask for in faith will be granted to you. 

WORD OF GOD - LK 6:46

‘Why do you call me “Lord, Lord”, and do not do what I tell you?’

Nothing is more disappointing than when those who are called by My Name, who say they love Me, who say they are My disciples and desire to follow Me closely quibble about which of My teachings they will obey, which they will ignore, which they will follow but not in its entirety, and which they will interpret according to the spirit of the world rather than the Spirit of God. Recall the words of My Father, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.” Recall the words of My Mother to the servants at the Wedding Feast at Cana, 'Do whatever He tells you to do.' Why then do you not obey Me? Listen to Me, listen to the Holy Spirit abiding in you, and above all listen to magisterium which is the teaching authority of the Church I established. Do this and I assure you each time you cry out to Me saying, "Lord! Lord!" I will come to you, I will listen to you, and I will grant you all that you need to journey safely from this life to the next.

WORD OF GOD - JN 3:14-16

JOHN 3:14-16

Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.’

My Father's love for you is so great that He asked Me to make the supreme sacrifice by laying down my life so you may live. Love alone made the great exchange possible on the Cross. It began at the moment of my conception and ended when I was laid in the tomb. I entered into your death so you could enter into My life and have a  share in My Resurrection. I AM God and I AM Love, live in Me and you will not perish but will receive eternal life.

WORD OF GOD - LK 14:16-17, & 22-24

LUKE 14:16-17, 22-24

Then Jesus said to him, ‘Someone gave a great dinner and invited many. At the time for the dinner he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, “Come; for everything is ready now.”
And the slave said, “Sir, what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.” Then the master said to the slave, “Go out into the roads and lanes, and compel people to come in, so that my house may be filled. For I tell you, none of those who were invited will taste my dinner.” ’

My Father invites all His children to the great Banquet of His Son, the Eternal Bridegroom. Every day of your life on earth is a preparation for this great feast. All through life you will hear the invitation from My anointed ministers in the Church, as well as those who have encountered Me and in turn share the Good News with you. For as long as you live I will cajole you tenderly to come to My Banquet and to feast at the sumptuous table prepared for you by My Father in heaven. All are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb but the invitation ceases the moment you draw your last breath. All who rejected My Father's invitation will be cast into the outer darkness where the fires of despair never die. If today you hear My voice do not harden your heart for the time of your salvation is now.

WORD OF GOD - MK 6:31A

MARK 6:31A

Jesus said to them, ‘Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’

Here I AM with my hand extended to you inviting you, take it. I speak to you and I cajole you to leave the world and all its tedious activities. Let Me take you away from the clamor and din to a place of rest in My Sacred Heart. Here is a place all your own. Rest your weary head a while on My breast. Allow My love and peace to fill your soul so it overflows with joy. Come away with Me where we can be alone, you and I, and I will speak to you and you will speak to me and we will listen to what each has to say. I will refresh you, replenish you, give rest to your soul so when you return to the world you will take up your cross with renewed vigor to follow wherever I will lead you. Be still know that I AM God and I love you now and eternally. Remain in My love.
