Because you have little faith. I say to you: if only you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could tell that mountain to move from here to there, and the mountain would obey. Nothing would be impossible for you.

The effectiveness of genuine faith, even if it were the size of a mustard seed, has power beyond anything you can comprehend. If only you knew what faith in Me can accomplish you would never wring your hands in helplessness, you would never lose confidence in yourself, you would not so easily be defeated; instead you would call on Me in faith, believing that I can grant you what you ask for and it would be done for you.
Why is it --- Mine, that after all I have done for you ever since you were old enough to count your blessings, do you find it difficult to walk in bright light of faith with the confidence of a child whose hand is held firmly in its father's hand? Shake off the mantle of disbelief. Do not focus on those who are incapable of doing you any harm or cause you any hurt but keep your gaze unwaveringly on Me. I am meek and humble of heart and so must you be in order to be truly happy.
