Today, the Church honors Joseph as her protector. He is appointed by God as Lord of His household. He is by God's will and good pleasure, prince over all God's possessions. Emulate his virtues, especially those most pleasing to Him, humility, prompt obedience to the will of God, and silence. It is not a passive silence but one that is alive and focused on listening attentively to God and doing His will without hesitation. Asleep or awake his whole being was in tune with the heart, the mind, and the will of God as he was put in charge of the infinite treasures of God, His only well-beloved Son, and the fairest of all His creatures, His daughter, Mary, My Mother. Love My foster father as I loved him. Trust in his ability to obtain for you, along with My Mother, all that you need to sojourn from this life to the life that is to come. Ask him and he will obtain for you rich graces for I, who obeyed him on earth, continue to do all he asks of Me in heaven. Stay close to Joseph, and you will stay close to the Triune God and to My Mother.
