1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy
Spirit within you, given by God? You belong no longer to yourselves. Remember
at what price you have been bought and make your body serve the glory of God.
----Mine, pay careful attention to what I say to you today - it is through denial of sin or playing fast and loose with the truth according to your current whim or fancy, that will lead down the slippery slope of denial of the true nature of sin. The sins of the flesh are the easiest traps the devil sets against you and so often you fall willingly, without even putting up a token resistance. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. The Third person of the Trinity makes it His home because I know how hard it is to resist temptation without divine assistance. He will help you if only you let Him. Give him permission to hold sway over you and all your senses.
Do you know why you no longer belong to yourself? Because you are now betrothed to Me. I am you Spouse, the bridegroom of your soul. One way of determining the value of something is by the cost of purchase - your life was valued at an irredeemable price - it was obtained in exchange for the life of the only Son of the Living God - it no longer belongs to you but to God don't trifle with it.
