LUKE 4:38-39
After leaving the synagogue he entered Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked him about her. Then he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. Immediately she got up and began to serve them.
---- mine,
When you leave the Church you must go into the world with eyes wide open, ears ready to listen, hands ready to give and to serve, feet prepared to go wherever you are sent, and a heart so filled with abounding love for Me that it impels you to spend your life for others. There is no other way for a follower of Mine to live but in loving service to neighbor. Love lays its life down for the good of the other. This is what My Father asked of Me and it is what My Father and I ask of you as well. A life lived for others is fruitful, a life closed in on itself will soon shrivel up and die. Pray for others and bring them to Me so I may touch and heal them in every way that they need healing and they in turn will rise up from their sick bed, from their sick selves, from their unhealthy focus on themselves, and begin to serve. Live for God's glory and do everything for the glory of God.
